Born and raised in North London, music was at the heart of Lewis’s childhood household. He learnt guitar because of an obsession with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and seeing his dad play the bass guitar led Lewis to join his first band at age 11.

The rhythm of music influences Lewis’s edits and filmmaking. “It’s the heartbeat for any good film”, in Lewis’ opinion. He has always kept music at the heart of all his filmmaking, whether it's commercials, short films or music videos.
